Slowing Down and Stepping Back

As we move into the month of February I feel a desire within myself to push ahead and to make more happen and at the same time my body is telling me to slow down.

To observe and step back from distractions.   To limit my time on social media and technology and to honor my inner compass.

To observe what is happening inside without worrying I am missing the busyness of the outside.

I know I am not alone with the continual push and pull of what I feel like I should be doing and what I actually desire to do.

I have fully stepped into changing this tape, as I become aware of the ways in which I fool myself by saying one thing and doing another.

My thoughts are present and will continue to be but I can choose to give them power or observation.

I keep coming back to the simple words “I Choose”

Life is a choice.  It is not a race to complete as fast as possible.

I am learning to lean in to the slowness.  To receive what is provided to me and to honor the cycle.  Patience is required.  And that has been my biggest challenge.

I have always wanted it quicker.   The results give me validation to go forward to prove my success.

Through this process I am redefining my definition of success because what I was taught is not what I believe. I am starting to truly look inward when I feel this pull to go outward.

I learning and relearning.

I am realizing that it is all not as complicated as I have made it out to be.

It is in the slowing down that I gain clarity, wisdom as I reconnect to the intuition of my heart.  It is in the slowing down that allows for all to be received in perfect timing.

I know when the time comes to take action and to move forward I will be ready and I will be clear.

I won’t have missed anything.

Allowing grace to meet me in each breath.
