Change your Thoughts; Change your Life

It is easy to go through life each day and accept the outcome, but what if you started to create intentions for how you want to live.

An intention for me some days is as simple as I am grateful.  I hold gratitude in my heart and my mind and carry it with me as I move through my day.   There is no need to create complex intentions or to over think the process.  Simply take a moment each day to set an intention for yourself.

We have the power to change our thoughts and to change our outlook.   I used to read about this and hear it all the time, but I never thought it was true.  I was often negative about situations in my life or believed that good things just never happened to me.  I didn't realize the power my thoughts had over me.  The thoughts and words I was telling myself every single day had a direct impact on my circumstances.

When I changed the way I spoke to myself and set a positive intention for myself my outlook quickly shifted.  I realized I was happier, I was enjoying life and as a result opportunities and positive experiences were available to me.

It is easy to blame others for why things don't work out in your life.  But instead of blaming anyone, take a moment to clear your mind and set a positive intention for yourself.  Try to hold this intention as you move through your day.  When times are difficult come back to this intention and reset your mind.

Believe it or not we have the power to re-wire our brains.   Allow the moments in your life to be shaped in a  positive light.   All circumstances are happening for you, so why not make yourself open to the gifts they bring.
