How are you choosing to measure life?

What if life was measured not by how much we know or what we make.  Not by outcomes and expectations.  What if the value of a connection or a creative moment was measurable?  What would that value be?

Is there really a way to measure happiness?  The moments that simply don’t have words.

So much of our life is a measurement.  The outcome we want to achieve.  The next place we want to go.  The amount of money we want to make.  The amount of likes we have.   We can measure it, see progress, and take action; AND most importantly we can always do better.

And in the desire to do better we create inadequacy within ourselves.

We become separate from ourselves AND in a single moment we become not enough.

The biggest struggle and discomfort so many of us experience in this world comes from separation of self.

Believing we are not enough just as we are in every single moment.

And the bigger question is how is not enough measured?

Maybe just maybe it’s  time to stop measuring every moment and analyzing life only through productivity, accomplishments and arrivals.

It’s time to BE ENOUGH.

Valuing the time when there is nothing to do.  When there is stillness.  When there is creativity.  When there is breath.   When there is nothing to truly measure.

In that space we are complete, the true self is expansive, spacious and ALIVE.

I invite you into that space with me.

A space that feels uncomfortable and maybe unfamiliar. A space of unknown and a space of MAGIC.

I commit to measuring life in this space.

To remind myself daily that the gift of unstructured space is the truest measurement of the soul.
